ABOUT TIDITSSIA

TIDITSSIA is an association formed(03.08.1967) to serve the cause of small scale sector industries of Tiruchirapalli District. It has pledged to build up healthy powerful bond between the Governmental agencies and Industries through sustained efforts and firm commitment with systems for nonstop improvement. It has extended its efforts to achieve global standards through positive methods and arranging interaction with several related agencies.

THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION ARE

To take all steps to protect and promote the general interests of the persons engaged in Micro and Small Industries. 2. To collect, classify and circulate statistics and other information relating to Micro and Small Industries. 3. To maintain a Library of books and Publication and Literature on Micro and Small Industries, so as to feed industrial and commercial information and knowledge amongst the members of the Association. 4. To organize or conduct services for the benefit of the Association members and their employees.

ACTIVITIES

Motivate the eligible candidates of UYEGP and PMEGP schemes identify the candidate of NEEDS. To conduct EDP training with efficient faculty available within our association. To organize follow up meetings with EDP candidates for helping them in availing finance from banks. TIDITSSIA has been organising EDP program for New Entrepreneurs in various Colleges. Periodical expositions on various industries and technology related subjects are provided by organizing seminars/Workshop/Exhibition. The association has 300 direct and about 1200 associated members. The association is serving the community since 1967. It releases a news letter every month titled “TIDITSSIA NEWS”. It carriers vital information needed every now and then to keep in touch with changing economic, financial, governmental policies and changes intimated by various inspectorates of customs, central excise, sales tax, income tax etc., Thus it is serving the cause of SSI sector and Nation at large.
